I would recommend this product without the foot ring. I had the chair fixed once because the foot ring kept sliding down toward the floor and would not remain in place. Even after getting it fixed, the foot ring issue reappeared. It seems this is a design flaw. The mechanism for holding the foot ring in place does not work.

Best Chair

This is the best made office chair I've ever had. The height adjustment is gas assist, the arm height adjustment also matches my elbows. The forearm pads are gel filled and comfortable. I work for long periods and this chair is great year after year. The seat is high quality leather and still looks like new. The back is comfortable and breathes. I won't need another chair.
